“I have a 2001 Chevy Suburban 5.3 gasoline engine with a tow package that has 210,000 miles. Last week I had a fan belt burn up because of a frozen idler pulley. I went to my mechanic and had the pulley and belt replaced. My mechanic asked me how many miles I had on the vehicle and I told him that I had in excess of 200,000 miles. Before I left, he recommended that I start using Rislone Oil Treatment about every other oil change. When I left his shop, I went to O'Reilly’s and purchased a quart of Rislone and went directly to the lube shop and had them add to the crankcase with the oil change. The next day, my wife and I had to go out of town, so, I filled up with gas before we left and zeroed the trip odometer. We drove approximately 250 miles to our destination and while we were there we were caught in a traffic jam for about an hour and never got over 5 miles per hour in the stop and go traffic. We returned the next day and I noticed that my gauge showed more than a half of a tank of gasoline. I told my wife that the gauge was either wrong or we were getting excellent mileage because we never have made a round trip to that town on one tank of gas. I chose to rely on the gauge and not refill the tank. We have made this trip many times and have always had to fill up before we got home. When we got home, I had a little less than a quarter of a tank left and couldn't wait to go to the station and fill up and check my mileage. The next day, we went to the station and I put 27.435 gallons in the car and the miles that accumulated on the trip was 535.5. The miles per gallon calculated to 19.519. In the past, I have never calculated more than 16 mpg since I had the car. I made sure that I filled the tank to the top by clicking the nozzle over and over. If anyone would have told me that I could get that kind of mileage in my Suburban, I would not have believed them. If I would not have been trapped in a traffic jam that day for over an hour, I am sure that I would it would have calculated in excess of 20mpg on that tank of gas. I have already bought more Rislone for our other vehicles and will use it in the next oil change. Thanks to Rislone, I have increased my MPG without any mechanical change to my engine. ”

“Since the oil flush, filter change, and addition of Rislone treatment on Wednesday the valve noise is greatly reduced and cold idle is improved. I think the replacement of some or all of the vacuum hoses under the hood will improve the situation even further. “Hello, This is an *UPDATE* A few months back I wrote to you explaining that I have a 1993 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4 Pickup with the 5.7L 350, at that time it had approx. 148,000 miles on it, and I noticed that when it gets very cold (below 20 degrees F), and I start my truck in the morning, it has a 3 to 8 second lifter tap until the oil gets up to the top end. Well, after performing the last oil change a few months back using Castrol GTX High Mileage and a quart of Rislone Engine Oil Treatment P/N 100QR the lifter tap became much quieter than it was before. Well, I just performed another oil change last week currently at 150,000 miles using Castrol GTX High Mileage oil and of course threw in another quart of Rislone Engine Oil Treatment for good measure and Viola!, The lifter tap had completely gone away after about 200 miles of driving after the 2nd to last oil change never to return! “I have been using Rislone Engine treatment for almost 30 years. I now use it in every car I owe most of which have a 4.5 quart capacity in which I replace 1/2 quart of oil with 1/2 of Rislone. This is done every oil change at 3000 miles. Now the evidence that it works. I commute 85 miles and my wife 25 miles daily. Over the years I have had three work cars. The first was a 86 Pontiac 6000SE which I sold with 235,000 miles on it and still running great and using no oil. Changing oil brands, to Quaker State with Slick 50 did not help. Adding a can of Restore, same results, noisy lifter on start up. But after changing Oil to Quaker State 5w30 and adding a bottle of Rislone, no more lifter noise, from the get go!!! The engine runs smoother and more power. About a week ago I did an oil change using an AC Delco filter, Castrol GTX High Mileage 10W-30 oil, and I decided to add a bottle of Rislone Engine Treatment, P/N 100QR, well, it's been night and day since. I now have more oil pressure at startup, 50-55 psi compared to 35-40 psi, and a little lifter tap at startup, I have only put about 70 miles on since the oil change, but I think that in about another 100-150 miles of driving, the lifter tap should be completely gone. “I purchased a 1994 Ford Explorer in November 2007. I immediately noticed a slight pecking noise when cold-starting. Various persons recommended adding Lucas Oil Treatment to the crankcase. “I have heard of Rislone for many years but never tried it. I have a 1997 Plymouth Neon that I bought in 1998. At times it appears that a valve lifter would stick and the “service engine soon” light would come on. My dealer could resolve the problem but the last time it did this, about two weeks ago, I bought a bottle of Rislone at my local Safeway grocery store. The very next day I could notice more engine power from the 150 hp DOHC engine. Also, that car engine would always “ping” terrible on regular unleaded gas, still “ping” on mid-grade fuel and even get some “pinging” on premium grade fuel. I tried a different brand of gas and it still “pinged”. Well, I refueled last week with “mid grade” gas…NO ping, so then I added one, tank of “regular unleaded” and been driving it this week.
